Character's Age: 400+, but has the appearance of a teenager.
Planet of Residence: World that Never Was
How long have they been in Centerverse?: Two months; the same as the Edward and Alphonse here.
A brief background of the character:
Envy is the firstborn son of Hohenheim and Dante, two of the foremost, and most daring alchemists of their time -- which was over four hundred years ago.
However, Envy died because of mercury poisoning. Distraught, his parents sought to revive him using the Philosopher's Stone (an amplifier of alchemical power, made from thousands of human lives taken by force). They succeeded and failed at the same time: his body and mind had been successfully retrieved from the Gate of Truth, but his soul had been lost behind those impassive doors.
Thus a soulless imitation of life was born: Envy was the first Homunculus, gifted with the power of regeneration and shapeshifting, and with an innate hatred of anything human. He hates his father and, consequently, anyone bearing the surname of Elric.
